Census Bureau: More women than men in Minnesota in 2019

Of the 5,563,378 people living in Minnesota in 2019, 50.2 percent (2,792,505) were women and 49.8 percent (2,770,873) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Minnesota State Wire.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by 29,644. In the 65 and over age range, there were 470,215 females and 388,483 males.
