U.S. Congresswoman Ilhan Omar, representing Minnesota’s 5th District, shared insights about her recent activities and engagements through a series of posts on the social media platform X.

On April 23, 2025, Ilhan Omar expressed her enthusiasm about visiting Nightingale Food & Cocktails in Minneapolis. On April 24, 2025, Omar addressed the historical recognition efforts of the Armenian Genocide by joining the Armenian community in Minnesota and globally. Omar stated "I join the Armenian community in Minnesota and around the world to recognize the over 1.5 million Armenians who were systematically murdered during the Armenian Genocide." She emphasized the importance of honoring their memory and supporting their descendants while continuing efforts to prevent genocide.

Later the same day, Omar highlighted the critical role of the U.S. Postal Service for various groups within Minnesota, including seniors and small businesses. She described the USPS as "an indispensable service," mentioning her meeting with letter carriers from the Branch 9 of the National Association of Letter Carriers. She expressed gratitude for their contributions to her congressional district.
