MakerTeen: Altered Books with Artistry

Description

Join us for a craft with Guest Makers from Artistry. Learn how to repurpose old and unloved books and turn them into new works of art. Different techniques will be explored including black-out poetry, paper folding, paper cutting, painting, drawing, and more. If you wish, feel free to bring a book you don’t mind remaking into a new work of art. We will supply books for anyone who does not bring one.

This program is part of Teen Lit Takeover: 60+ events, 41 days, 8 libraries supported by MELSA and funded with money from Minnesota’s Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
