Sandy Labore, a personnel, benefits and transactions assistant in Human Resources, was presented with an employee achievement award in the category of County Work Environment Contributions during the Sept. 27 board meeting.
Ms. Labore supports and offices out of the Parks & Recreation department. She goes out of her way to make employees feel valued and plays a big role in celebrating major life events, holidays and coordinates the staff blood drive for the American Red Cross.
Commissioner McGuire read the nomination with Ms. Labore and county staff offering remarks.
