The second half of 2021: Independence experienced a 3.3% drop in median home prices

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2021 in Independence fell by $22,500 while total sales increased by 66.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2021, there were 30 homes sold, with a median sale price of $664,500 - a 3.3% decrease over the $687,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 18 homes sold in Independence in the second half of 2020.
