What happened to the median home price in Wayzata during the second half of 2021?

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2021 in Wayzata fell by $85,000 while total sales decreased by 11.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2021, there were 23 homes sold, with a median sale price of $610,000 - a 12.2% decrease over the $695,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 26 homes sold in Wayzata in the second half of 2020.

The median sales tax in Wayzata for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $7,696, approximately 1.3% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2021.
