The second half of 2021: Home prices in Minnetonka increased

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2021 in Minnetonka rose by $52,551 while total sales increased by 52.9%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2021, there were 315 homes sold, with a median sale price of $468,000 - a 12.6% increase over the $415,450 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 206 homes sold in Minnetonka in the second half of 2020.

The median sales tax in Minnetonka for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $4,782, approximately 1% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2021.
