Home prices increased in Hanover during the second half of 2021

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2021 in Hanover rose by $53,820 while total sales increased by 133.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2021, there were seven homes sold, with a median sale price of $428,820 - a 14.4% increase over the $375,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were three homes sold in Hanover in the second half of 2020.

The median sales tax in Hanover for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $5,166, approximately 1.2% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2021.
