New Brighton home prices rose in the second half of 2021

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2021 in New Brighton rose by $39,910 while total sales increased by 52.2%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2021, there were 137 homes sold, with a median sale price of $351,860 - a 12.8% increase over the $311,950 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 90 homes sold in New Brighton in the second half of 2020.

The median sales tax in New Brighton for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $3,632, approximately 1% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2021.
