What happened to the median home price in Lauderdale during the second half of 2021?

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2021 in Lauderdale fell by $30,900 while total sales increased by 36.4%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2021, there were 15 homes sold, with a median sale price of $209,000 - a 12.9% decrease over the $239,900 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 11 homes sold in Lauderdale in the second half of 2020.

The median sales tax in Lauderdale for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $2,721, approximately 1.3% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2021.
