How did home prices perform in Columbus during the fourth quarter of 2021?

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2021 in Columbus fell by $1,400 while total sales increased by 40%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2021, there were seven homes sold, with a median sale price of $365,000 - a 0.4% decrease over the $366,400 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were five homes sold in Columbus in the fourth quarter of 2020.

The median sales tax in Columbus for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $3,826, approximately 1% of the median home sale price for the fourth quarter of 2021.
