How did home prices perform in Columbus during the third quarter of 2021?

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2021 in Columbus rose by $162,000 while total sales decreased by 9.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2021, there were 10 homes sold, with a median sale price of $512,000 - a 46.3% increase over the $350,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 11 homes sold in Columbus in the third quarter of 2020.

The median sales tax in Columbus for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $3,826, approximately 0.7% of the median home sale price for the third quarter of 2021.
