Pricing for the median home in New Germany decreased during the third quarter of 2021

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2021 in New Germany fell by $18,345 while total sales decreased by 75%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2021, there were two homes sold, with a median sale price of $202,655 - a 8.3% decrease over the $221,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were eight homes sold in New Germany in the third quarter of 2020.

The median sales tax in New Germany for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $3,234, approximately 1.6% of the median home sale price for the third quarter of 2021.
