Home prices increased in Farmington during the third quarter of 2021

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2021 in Farmington rose by $23,000 while total sales increased by 50.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2021, there were 161 homes sold, with a median sale price of $326,000 - a 7.6% increase over the $303,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 107 homes sold in Farmington in the third quarter of 2020.

The median sales tax in Farmington for the most recent year with available data, 2020, was $3,822, approximately 1.2% of the median home sale price for the third quarter of 2021.
