The third quarter of 2021: Lexington experienced a 25.1% increase in median home prices

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2021 in Lexington rose by $62,878 while total sales remained unchanged with four homes sold, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2021, there were four homes sold, with a median sale price of $313,878 - a 25.1% increase over the $251,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were four homes sold in Lexington in the third quarter of 2020, as well.

The median sales tax in Lexington for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $3,015, approximately 1% of the median home sale price for the third quarter of 2021.
