How did home prices perform in Dayton during the third quarter of 2021?

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2021 in Dayton rose by $292,500 while total sales decreased by 5.9%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2021, there were 16 homes sold, with a median sale price of $602,500 - a 94.4% increase over the $310,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 17 homes sold in Dayton in the third quarter of 2020.

The median sales tax in Dayton for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $4,498, approximately 0.7% of the median home sale price for the third quarter of 2021.
