Wayzata home prices fell in the third quarter of 2021

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2021 in Wayzata fell by $147,500 while total sales decreased by 50%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2021, there were eight homes sold, with a median sale price of $547,500 - a 21.2% decrease over the $695,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 16 homes sold in Wayzata in the third quarter of 2020.

The median sales tax in Wayzata for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $7,696, approximately 1.4% of the median home sale price for the third quarter of 2021.
