Excelsior home prices fell in the third quarter of 2021

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2021 in Excelsior fell by $377,500 while total sales increased by 25%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2021, there were five homes sold, with a median sale price of $400,000 - a 48.6% decrease over the $777,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were four homes sold in Excelsior in the third quarter of 2020.

The median sales tax in Excelsior for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $6,838, approximately 1.7% of the median home sale price for the third quarter of 2021.
