Congressional Record publishes “FOR THE PEOPLE ACT OF 2021--MOTION TO PROCEED” in the Senate section on June 17

Volume 167, No. 106, covering the 1st Session of the 117th Congress (2021 - 2022), was published by the Congressional Record.

The Congressional Record is a unique source of public documentation. It started in 1873, documenting nearly all the major and minor policies being discussed and debated.

“FOR THE PEOPLE ACT OF 2021--MOTION TO PROCEED” mentioning Amy Klobuchar was published in the Senate section on page S4617 on June 17.

Mr. SCHUMER. Madam President, I ask unanimous consent that it be in order to proceed to Calendar No. 77, S. 2093.

Motion to proceed to Calendar No. 77, S. 2093, a bill to expand Americans' access to the ballot box, reduce the influence of big money in politics, strengthen ethics rules for public servants, and implement other anti-corruption measures for the purpose of fortifying our democracy, and for other purposes.

Mr. SCHUMER. Madam President, I send a cloture motion to the desk.

We, the undersigned Senators, in accordance with the provisions of rule XXII of the Standing Rules of the Senate, do hereby move to bring to a close debate on the motion to proceed to Calendar No. 77, S. 2093, a bill to expand Americans' access to the ballot box, reduce the influence of big money in politics, strengthen ethics rules for public servants, and implement other anti-corruption measures for the purpose of fortifying our democracy, and for other purposes.
