Home prices increased in Forest Lake during the fourth quarter of 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2020 in Forest Lake rose by $37,550 while total sales decreased by 16.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2020, there were 52 homes sold, with a median sale price of $300,000 - a 14.3% increase over the $262,450 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 62 homes sold in Forest Lake in the fourth quarter of 2019.

The median sales tax in Forest Lake for 2020 was $3,130. In 2019, the median sales tax was $3,002. This marks an increase of 4.3%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1%.
