The fourth quarter of 2020: Excelsior experienced a 6.8% drop in median home prices

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2020 in Excelsior fell by $37,500 while total sales decreased by 66.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2020, there were two homes sold, with a median sale price of $512,500 - a 6.8% decrease over the $550,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were six homes sold in Excelsior in the fourth quarter of 2019.

The median sales tax in Excelsior for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $6,838, approximately 1.3% of the median home sale price for the fourth quarter of 2020.
