The second half of 2020: Home prices in St. Paul Park increased

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2020 in St. Paul Park rose by $29,100 while total sales decreased by 31.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2020, there were 28 homes sold, with a median sale price of $247,500 - a 13.3% increase over the $218,400 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 41 homes sold in St. Paul Park in the second half of 2019.

The median sales tax in St. Paul Park for 2020 was $2,904. In 2019, the median sales tax was $2,590. This marks an increase of 12.1%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.2%.
