The second half of 2020: Lexington experienced a 4.8% increase in median home prices

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2020 in Lexington rose by $12,000 while total sales decreased by 28.6%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2020, there were five homes sold, with a median sale price of $262,000 - a 4.8% increase over the $250,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were seven homes sold in Lexington in the second half of 2019.

The median sales tax in Lexington for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $3,015, approximately 1.2% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2020.
