Columbia Heights median home prices rose by 8.7% in the second half of 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2020 in Columbia Heights rose by $19,650 while total sales increased by 3.9%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2020, there were 106 homes sold, with a median sale price of $246,150 - a 8.7% increase over the $226,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 102 homes sold in Columbia Heights in the second half of 2019.

The median sales tax in Columbia Heights for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $2,478, approximately 1% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2020.
