Annandale Area Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on Dec. 11.
The Waterfront is following the lead of Dave Fritz and MC’s Dugout in doing some good for the community this holiday season. This year has been hard on us all but we can all work together to help those who are truly in need. We will be using our Restaurant as a donation hub for the next 2 Sundays and then bringing those donations to local organizations for distribution to those in need. (Just pull up to the back door during the hours posted below and we will meet you outside to accept your donations)
We will be accepting the following items on the following dates from 4-8pm.
Sunday Dec 13th
New or lightly used clothing including
Jackets
Sweaters
Winter hats
Gloves
Jeans/pants
Etc.
Sunday Dec 20th
Food items (perishable and non perishable)
Soaps
Shampoo
Toothpaste
Deodorant
Etc.
Thanks everyone for taking a little time to give back this holiday season and a big Thanks to Dave at MC’s Dugout for getting the ball rolling and getting so many local establishments on board. Together we can make this year a little brighter.
