City of Aitkin issued the following announcement on July 17.
Important things to know about the upcoming Ripplesippi Kayak & Canoe River Run! Due to low water levels this year, we recommended kayaks. Innertubes will not be passable. Portage may be necessary for certain spots. Bring your lifejacket! Also, a big thanks to our sponsors! They keep this event free to the public.
