Victoria home prices fall in the first half of 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2020 in Victoria fell by $51,500 while total sales decreased by 39.2%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2020, there were 48 homes sold, with a median sale price of $409,500 - a 11.2% decrease over the $461,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 79 homes sold in Victoria in the first half of 2019.

The median sales tax in Victoria for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $5,260, approximately 1.3% of the median home sale price for the first half of 2020.
