Independence home prices rise in the first half of 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2020 in Independence rose by $127,500 while total sales decreased by 50%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2020, there were 17 homes sold, with a median sale price of $540,000 - a 30.9% increase over the $412,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 34 homes sold in Independence in the first half of 2019.
