Columbus home prices rise in the second quarter of 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2020 in Columbus rose by $31,000 while total sales increased by 16.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2020, there were seven homes sold, with a median sale price of $310,000 - a 11.1% increase over the $279,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were six homes sold in Columbus in the second quarter of 2019.

The median sales tax in Columbus for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $3,826, approximately 1.2% of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2020.
