Dayton home prices rise in the second quarter of 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2020 in Dayton rose by $94,022 while total sales decreased by 6.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2020, there were 15 homes sold, with a median sale price of $370,800 - a 34% increase over the $276,778 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 16 homes sold in Dayton in the second quarter of 2019.

The median sales tax in Dayton for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $4,498, approximately 1.2% of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2020.
