Castle Rock home prices fall in the first half of 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2020 in Castle Rock fell by $48,200 while total sales decreased by 25%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2020, there were three homes sold, with a median sale price of $264,000 - a 15.4% decrease over the $312,200 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were four homes sold in Castle Rock in the first half of 2019.

The median sales tax in Castle Rock for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $2,955, approximately 1.1% of the median home sale price for the first half of 2020.
