Shakopee home prices rise in November 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in November 2018 in Shakopee rose by $36,400 while total sales increased by 27.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In November 2018, there were 61 homes sold, with a median sale price of $234,900 - a 18.3% increase over the $198,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 48 homes sold in Shakopee in November 2017.

The median sales tax in Shakopee for 2018 was $3,012. In 2017, the median sales tax was $2,756. This marks an increase of 9.3%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.3%.
