Savage home prices rise in January 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in January 2019 in Savage rose by $15,000 while total sales decreased by 39.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In January 2019, there were 14 homes sold, with a median sale price of $290,000 - a 5.5% increase over the $275,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 23 homes sold in Savage in January 2018.

The median sales tax in Savage for 2019 was $3,760. In 2018, the median sales tax was $3,585. This marks an increase of 4.9%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.3%.
