Savage home prices rise in April 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in April 2019 in Savage rose by $22,500 while total sales decreased by 19.6%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In April 2019, there were 41 homes sold, with a median sale price of $285,000 - a 8.6% increase over the $262,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 51 homes sold in Savage in April 2018.

The median sales tax in Savage for 2019 was $3,760. In 2018, the median sales tax was $3,585. This marks an increase of 4.9%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.3%.
