Victoria home prices fall in October 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in October 2019 in Victoria fell by $180,100 while total sales decreased by 76.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In October 2019, there were four homes sold, with a median sale price of $277,400 - a 39.4% decrease over the $457,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 17 homes sold in Victoria in October 2018.

The median sales tax in Victoria for 2019 was $5,260. In 2018, the median sales tax was $5,082. This marks an increase of 3.5%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.9%.
