Eagan home prices rise in October 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in October 2018 in Eagan rose by $1,500 while total sales increased by 7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In October 2018, there were 92 homes sold, with a median sale price of $262,500 - a 0.6% increase over the $261,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 86 homes sold in Eagan in October 2017.

The median sales tax in Eagan for 2018 was $2,867. In 2014, the median sales tax was $2,524. This marks an increase of 13.6%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.1%.
