South St. Paul home prices rise in April 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in April 2019 in South St. Paul rose by $7,899 while total sales decreased by 46.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In April 2019, there were 22 homes sold, with a median sale price of $224,500 - a 3.6% increase over the $216,601 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 41 homes sold in South St. Paul in April 2018.

The median sales tax in South St. Paul for 2019 was $2,558. In 2018, the median sales tax was $2,515. This marks an increase of 1.7%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.1%.
