South St. Paul home prices rise in September 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in September 2019 in South St. Paul rose by $4,900 while total sales decreased by 48.9%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In September 2019, there were 23 homes sold, with a median sale price of $219,900 - a 2.3% increase over the $215,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 45 homes sold in South St. Paul in September 2018.

The median sales tax in South St. Paul for 2019 was $2,558. In 2018, the median sales tax was $2,515. This marks an increase of 1.7%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.2%.
