Columbus home prices fall in July 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in July 2019 in Columbus fell by $178,250 while total sales increased by 200%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In July 2019, there were six homes sold, with a median sale price of $370,250 - a 32.5% decrease over the $548,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were two homes sold in Columbus in July 2018.

The median sales tax in Columbus for 2019 was $3,826. In 2018, the median sales tax was $3,246. This marks an increase of 17.9%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1%.
