Columbia Heights home prices fall in August 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in August 2019 in Columbia Heights fell by $12,250 while total sales decreased by 3.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In August 2019, there were 26 homes sold, with a median sale price of $197,750 - a 5.8% decrease over the $210,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 27 homes sold in Columbia Heights in August 2018.

The median sales tax in Columbia Heights for 2019 was $2,478. In 2018, the median sales tax was $2,326. This marks an increase of 6.5%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.3%.
