Excelsior home prices fall in October 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in October 2019 in Excelsior fell by $50,000 while total sales decreased by 42.9%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In October 2019, there were four homes sold, with a median sale price of $550,000 - a 8.3% decrease over the $600,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were seven homes sold in Excelsior in October 2018.

The median sales tax in Excelsior for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $5,453, approximately 1% of the median home sale price for October 2019.
