Independence home prices fall in October 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in October 2019 in Independence fell by $37,750 while total sales decreased by 50%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In October 2019, there were four homes sold, with a median sale price of $441,750 - a 7.9% decrease over the $479,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were eight homes sold in Independence in October 2018.

The median sales tax in Independence for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $5,414, approximately 1.2% of the median home sale price for October 2019.
