North St. Paul home prices rise in August 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in August 2018 in North St. Paul rose by $750 while total sales increased by 85.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In August 2018, there were 26 homes sold, with a median sale price of $226,500 - a 0.3% increase over the $225,750 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 14 homes sold in North St. Paul in August 2017.

The median sales tax in North St. Paul for 2018 was $2,578. In 2017, the median sales tax was $2,613. This marks an decrease of 1.3%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.1%.
