St. Paul home prices rise in July 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in July 2019 in St. Paul rose by $25,750 while total sales increased by 29.8%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In July 2019, there were 423 homes sold, with a median sale price of $230,000 - a 12.6% increase over the $204,250 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 326 homes sold in St. Paul in July 2018.

The median sales tax in St. Paul for 2019 was $3,106. In 2018, the median sales tax was $2,772. This marks an increase of 12%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.4%.
