St. Paul home prices rise in September 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in September 2019 in St. Paul rose by $10,000 while total sales increased by 3.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In September 2019, there were 362 homes sold, with a median sale price of $212,000 - a 5% increase over the $202,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 351 homes sold in St. Paul in September 2018.

The median sales tax in St. Paul for 2019 was $3,106. In 2018, the median sales tax was $2,772. This marks an increase of 12%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.5%.
