St. Paul home prices rise in November 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in November 2019 in St. Paul rose by $32,500 while total sales decreased by 33.8%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In November 2019, there were 208 homes sold, with a median sale price of $224,000 - a 17% increase over the $191,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 314 homes sold in St. Paul in November 2018.

The median sales tax in St. Paul for 2019 was $3,106. In 2018, the median sales tax was $2,772. This marks an increase of 12%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.4%.
