Randolph home prices fall in the third quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2018 in Randolph fell by $20,600 while total sales increased by 25%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2018, there were five homes sold, with a median sale price of $349,900 - a 5.6% decrease over the $370,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were four homes sold in Randolph in the third quarter of 2017.

The median sales tax in Randolph for 2018 was $2,000. In 2014, the median sales tax was $1,657. This marks an increase of 20.6%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 0.6%.
