Apple Valley home prices rise in the first quarter of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2019 in Apple Valley rose by $1,450 while total sales decreased by 2.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2019, there were 146 homes sold, with a median sale price of $252,450 - a 0.6% increase over the $251,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 150 homes sold in Apple Valley in the first quarter of 2018.

The median sales tax in Apple Valley for 2019 was $2,844. In 2018, the median sales tax was $2,718. This marks an increase of 4.6%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.1%.
