Eden Prairie home prices fall in the third quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2018 in Eden Prairie fell by $3,500 while total sales increased by 9.4%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2018, there were 304 homes sold, with a median sale price of $365,500 - a 0.9% decrease over the $369,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 278 homes sold in Eden Prairie in the third quarter of 2017.

The median sales tax in Eden Prairie for the most recent year with available data, 2015, was $4,323, approximately 1.2% of the median home sale price for the third quarter of 2018.
