Ramsey home prices rise in the first quarter of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2019 in Ramsey rose by $19,000 while total sales increased by 34.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2019, there were 74 homes sold, with a median sale price of $254,000 - a 8.1% increase over the $235,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 55 homes sold in Ramsey in the first quarter of 2018.

The median sales tax in Ramsey for 2019 was $2,827. In 2018, the median sales tax was $2,713. This marks an increase of 4.2%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.1%.
